our house

This is an old drawing. It may look a little familiar, I reworked it for the earlier pinboard drawing. It's one from the archives. 1993, in fact. The only drawing I have from that period. The only drawing I made in that decade, I believe. I always seem to revisit the same old themes in my drawings. I wonder what that's about? Anyway, this one is for Tim and for the good old days.

Thanks for the name check, my dear. It was a pleasure to 're-live the old days'. This house has a premonitional quality to it - when I lived in Balquhidder in Scotland my hut was on stilts, made of wood and had a swing at the side - and that was five years later!

Were you always so good? Wow. But I like your new stuff even more.

How very interesting to see what has changed in your work since then and what remains.

Thanks everyone.

It's hard to believe that I didn't draw for such a long period. Especialy now, as I draw everyday. Even if I take a few days away from it I start to crave drawing. I could never imagine living without it in my life anymore. It has become so important to me.

Yes, it is intersting to see what we kep and what remains. Nostalgia, it seems, has been an ongoing theme for me.

Cheers folks.
